Hatched! But....

One of my eggs finally hatched but it is still attached to the egg and there seems to be quite a bit of blood in the egg. He is up dragging the shell around is this normal?

Yep, totally normal. After the umbilical cord dries up, it'll likely snag that shell on something and yank it right off

Thanks you so much. I was worried because I wasn't expecting that amount of blood. I had one that pipped and didn't make it and 2 that haven't done anything yet so I'm hoping everything on him is fine and he continues to do good.

He popped off his shell about an hour or so ago but he's dragging around a good 2 inches of goop. I'm assuming this is the umbilical cord? No bleeding and he is walking around fine.

Yep, just let it dry up and fall off. Keep him nice and safe, and whatever you do DONT" PULL IT
