For some reason the quail love to hang out with us. They sit on us and just chill out. Some of my chickens do this, but not all of them.I didn’t know either till I Googled it the other day and stumbled across a few BYC threads and that video LOL

Yes!!! You are good with movies. I have Rocky and Ginger in my flock as well. My husband came up with the names because that is one of his favorite movies believe it or not. He likes Wallace and Gromit as well.
I had never had one hatch chicks until now and IT IS THE CUTEST DANG THING.

I spend a lot of time with them in the aviary. I do not name the quail because I doubt I could tell them apart like I can the chickens.
I forget when the last time I saw them was. Probably last year. My oldest son always says "Cheese, Gromit!" Whenever anyone is eating cheese. I do not know how he even remembers that movie because he watched it as a toddler.I need to watch those movies again!! Been so long lol I vaguely remember them
It really is the cutest thing ever. It is amazing watching the chicken you hatched or grew from a chick hatch and raise their own. We stand or sit near the run and just watch them because they are quite amazing animals.
