Same here. I have new breeds i want and am trating myself to them with my tax return money. No one here to help me with the new coops either. :(:(

Hi everybody! My back's really twinge-y tonight and I'm still buried in paperwork :tongue but I wanted to jump on and shout hello.  Got the babies all moved downstairs today and into the big brooder. They're hopping all over the place and enjoying the extra room :)

I'll probably be mostly lurking for the next few days still till I get through all this junk, but I wanted to say thank you so much to everyone on this thread, especially to kraftyladies, madamwlf, wvstrutting, msztre, babymakes6, CPL, and KYTinpusher for all the work she does keeping this all in order. You guys are so amazing! It's ever so much nicer slogging through nasty ol' paperwork with happy chicks chirping in the background :)

Good morning! Yuck to the paperwork! I just pulled myself from under a mountain of it s couple of days ago. Whew. I hope your back feels better soon!

Sorry about the table, but it being screwed into the floor sure made me laugh!

Well looks like I am getting a Pair of Choc Wyandottes (From Foley) and another pair of BLRW... I forgot what color I think splash and black IDK.... I don't care either LOL Might pick them up next week weather permitting.

You're building up a really nice group of BLRWs! Please post pics of the chocs when you get them! :)

I've never really built anything by myself, but it looks like I need to learn. My DH says the only other pen he's building is for the Bresse (only breed he's personally interested in). That leaves me with my layer coop and run and 2 breeding pens. I have my Basque and Lav Ams in those 2 now, but my Foley girls have started giving me a few eggs. I guess I'm going to have to put my Lav Ams back in with the layers so I can separate my BLRWs. So frustrating because the Ams really just started being productive after their "break". Grr. I wish it was as easy to learn new things as on the movie The Matrix. Just plug in the data and you've instantly acquired a new skill.
 
I am so tired of rain...and it has only been 2 days! (I could never live in seattle, as much as I love visiting there.)

We have 550 lbs of dogs...indoor dogs...that track mud in. And one of them jumped on my bed yesterday evening and got the comforter completely muddy.

The husband better never complain about my chickens...that's all I'm sayin'.
