I am so glad to hear that.... I thought I was the only one who used 2000lb a month in feed. What kind of Bator do you have? Does your temp stay steady? Do you incubate and hatch in the same bator? What humidity do you use for incubating and lockdown? Sorry for all the questions. You don't need to be lose good eggs if it's at all possible. Hope I can help.
You don't have to pay for more. I have tons and I hatch tons. You would not believe what I have here. I have my feed made for me and I go threw 2 tons of feed a month, plus fodder.
OH! Do you cut the bottoms out of the egg cartons?
I received a phone call from the lead investigator of the Minnesota Inspector General's office about my theft and negligent claim for last weeks birds. They have begun both a criminal investigation and a negligence investigation in TN for box COF's stolen chicks and the negligent chickslaughter of Reese's . They will be in contact with me. Send good thoughts!!!! Not only do I want to reimburse Reese and COF for the replacements, I want to send a clear message! These are expensive birds and will cost them a lot of money. Perhaps this will motivate them to make changes.
Just an update.... my Dad is having surgery on Thursday the 11th. Tomorrow is PUSH day to finish shipping as much as I can. They told him he would be home the next day.... really? 80 years old, taking a bone out of his hip and putting it in his neck with pins and wire.... sure he needs to go home the next day.

Some things I can understand.... but major surgery like thatWhen I had my last baby I didn't want to stay any longer than I had to. I had him at about 4 am and left the hospital the next afternoon. They tried to talk me into staying but NO THANKS. This is different... like you at his age anything could happen.![]()
Thanks for the prayers.
