Ok, so the other day I was mentioning to DH that I was thinking of worming the BR that are in the tractor. They are looking a little tough and haven't layed an egg in at least a month or so. I picked up some wormer when I was at TSC the other day, but hadn't gotten around to it yet. Yesterday, DH tells me that he used the wormer in the main coop (trying to be helpful
) on
every one of my hens that are currently laying
and of course he
didn't worm the BR.
So, I am going to have a TON of eggs over the next couple of weeks that I can't eat and my incubator is full until NYD or so. I told DH that I will just have to save a lot of the eggs and put them in the bator after the current batch has hatched in January. And THEN he tells me he promised my incubator to a good friend of ours that wants to hatch eggs in her preschool class in January. While I know she will be hatching our eggs and we will be getting the chicks back, I hate to entrust a lot of my purebred eggs to a classroom of preschoolers. Our friend is an excellent teacher, but anything can happen in a classroom.
So, DH says "I hate to say this, but I guess you'll have to get another incubator."
