Oh my that is adorable.Well I have some youngsters that have been outside in my coop for a few weeks now. There were three chickens out there all ready. 2 kentucky spec roos, they keep to them selves, and 1 7 month old silkie roo. At first the 3 existing stayed to themselves and the youngster stayed to themselves, but every night I would have to go out and pick up all the youngsters and put them in the coop. Well starting a week or so ago i started finding my silkie roo was not going in the coop with the speks, but was staying with the youngsters. I find him with his wings all spread out and at least 4 youngsters under him and everyone else gathered around. I swear he's going broody!!I have to put him in the coop first or the youngsters will jump back out to go snuggle with him.![]()
