Why don't you feed Layer to your girls?

I feed everyone Chick Starter/Grower. Higher protein and it's one feed for all birds, no matter their age.

Is there really anything better that hatching baby chicks???!?!?!??!?!?

I don't think there is anything better than hatching baby chicks...but I think maybe when the little slimy, sticky and tired chicklet leaves you a beautiful oval-shaped masterpiece in the nesting box 6(ish) months later, might come close. *looks for a smiley with happy tears and there isn't one* I haven't experienced this part yet, but I will in a few more months...I know I'll just fall apart. lol

they are sweet! very calm. looking forward to watching them grow and then look out!!!! they will be offered next summer.

I keep saying she but of course don't know, just hoping.

she really does have a nice crest and you can't really see it from the pics. kept moving on me! was not happy with pics.
