Hi all. Just wanted to ask you all to say a prayer for my family and especially my mom, we lost my dad wednsday and things have been really tough. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.....thanks,Clarence

So sorry. I just read your post. I know it is difficult to lose someone you love at any time, but this time of year just makes it more difficult.

I know that somewhere this has been covered, but I for the life of me have not been able to find it. If someone has the time, could they post or PM me about how the swap works? I won't have any pure eggs until spring when I split my flock into breeding groups, but would love to take advantage of some of the eggs offered. Can I just offer PP and then in the spring try to reciprocate for eggs claimed now? Knowing the vaguaries of chicken egg laying I would prefer not to promise eggs for later.

When I went to put everyone in the coop I got a couple pictures of Momma Fred. Hard to tell, but when I picked him up there were 4 chicks under him!

It is simple. When you see something you would like, post mine. Then offer your paypal with a minimum of $15.00. Someone claims that. You pay it to them after their offer is claimed. You don't ever have to actually offer eggs, but we always appreciate when someone brings in new goodies and bloodlines. Welcome and dive right in.
