I went to meet Jon who puts up quads of Bresse on RBA, he's only a county away. Super nice guy, very clean facilities, crazy amounts of breeds. Anyway, he has a trio of black bresse if you guys want hatching eggs. His breeding pen of Bresse had some beautiful big birds, and really calm and friendly too. Very impressed.

Cool! Have been waiting for non-white Bresse. I'm just not a white fan, but have wanted to get a flock of Bresse going for the table.

Also, under the description in smaller print ..."layers of blue and green tinted eggs". I don't think whites have the problem with egg color do they? This is a photo of BYCer NoseyChickens eggs from her white Ameraucanas.....I don't think I'd describe them as green.

I got my whites from noseychickens...loved them..one laid a brilliant blue the other green...I always knew who was laying! Lol
