You might check with Banjoejoe for your Spangled OEGB. He has a tremendous number of breeds and as OEGB's. If he doesn't have Spangled, he probably knows who does.

Ideal just posted their new weekly specials for next week's hatch. Tremendous amount of goodies on there from geese to ducks to all kinds of bantams.

Actually, I have never had a problem until you sent them and Greenfire sent the Biels the same time. Neither box showed up. Now the same thing-three boxes were guaranteed to be delivered by noon today, and not one of them showed up. And the postal system wonders why they are going broke.

Hi Everyone!! WOW what a storm last night. Lost internet service but elect. never went out so incubators stayed on. Was feeling good about that then went outside

It will take the rest of the week and weekend to sort out and find all the stuff that is now everywhere. I'm not even sure some of it is mine! There were 3 tornado's close. I guess I could literally have someone else's sttuff. Still feel blessed. Thought we were going to blow away - literally.

Finally found someone to sell me Spangled OEGB eggs as I never found a rooster to replace my beloved Bean - Here is what arrived today...

house was just shaking, then a deep low rumble and the dogs were barking. Yep another launch from the space center just happened lol

We are 3-4 miles from the launch pads.

its fun, the rockets are itty bitty and we sleep through them if its a middle of the night launch. The shuttle, wow that was something and would rattle the windows and turn night into day. Very sad to not have that any longer.

We just were at the Neil Armstrong Museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio (about an hour away from me) back in December. Great little museum!

Question...I want to get a few hens for just eating egg production, no broodiness, great layers, what IYO is the best hatchery stock for this??

White Leghorns HANDS DOWN! The Best Layers of all time. I am not even sure mine have ever molted.... till now. They are thinking about it. One girl has looked a little rough for awhile now, but she is just now starting to SLOW down on her laying. They lay HUGE eggs. Even my pullets are laying JUMBOS already. I will never NOT have them in my flock. I don't find them flighty either.... JMHO... but it outta be everyones

I recently found out our DSL service is getting fibre optics. I live in a small town of 450 and the big city of about 500,000 doesn't even have it yet.
