so I've noticed the strangest thing recently. In almost all of my eggs. When I sit them on the carrier or an egg carton over night, there's a distinctive ring around the eggs. It's crazy. They almost look somehow discolored from that point down. Like darker. It's the weirdest thing. Has anyone else experienced this? I'll post a pic in a minute. Sometimes it happens with the Marans "spray" but this is literally a noticeable almost ring. Its kind of crazy.

She lives in Florida but ships lots of birds. I'm guessing a message went through the PO and that's how she knows.

Crazy! Can y'all see what I'm talking about? Seems like with the lighter eggs it fades or dissipates after a while but sometimes sticks around with the olives and Marans eggs. maybe extra humidity around that part of the egg? Super weird.

Well went out and got hugs from my turkeys so I feel so much better.

Now as for those chickens I need to get for my son. Guess I better start figuring out who I should be stalking.

MUCH better than worrying about pain-in-the-butt unpleaseable people I can't wait till I can get turkey hugs, too -- they sound awesome!
