My spring is already here so those getting spring babies better be ready lol, If the people live close to you why noy just deliver the birds? I personally wouldnt like shipping a claimed swap to someone random and then have them upset if something happened to them during shipping.
It wouldn't be a surprise, I would have those getting the chicks contact the sender with the info needed. I just do not want to offend anyone thinking I all of a sudden do not want the chicks,,,,,,it is just very hard to decide on just a few breeds, and I really must stick to the decisions made..

I think as long it is alright between the swapee and the shipper there shouldn"t be a problem JMO
As a matter of fact someone claimed my eggs during one of the backward swaps and I am sending them to someone else

That would be great cause some of them I was going to have shipped directly to YOU

(for what I owe you for silkie eggs)

If you think about it there is no difference in doing this and claiming for someone else on the swap thread............same thing person A claims from person B, person B sends to person C

I dont have a problem with it but I dont make the rules

I WANT everything I have, I just feel that if I want to have "quality" I need to be a little more "specialized". Trying to keep up with so many different birds, would be more than a full time job to keep up. My idea was raise a few of the varieties I liked and then decide, but now I see it would take so long for each type to grow to adulthood and "watch" them grow out.... I would never get it accomplished. I appreciate all that everyone has done to help us without get some exceptional birds and I would never want to hurt anyone's feelings by sending their eggs to someone else, I just need to be realistic. (which is something I have a hard time doing) It is sooo hard to watch the swap thread and not MINE, MINE, MINE!!!!
