I'm going to put this out again today. Does anyone want Salmon Faverolle's? I will have somewhere between 9 and 12 today that are under 5 days old and can ship tomorrow. Let me know.

I don't want to hatch anymore right now so need to ship or eat. LOL

How long do you wait to help a chick hatch? I have a chick who started yesterday morning and then finally pipped a hole at 4pm yesterday, now still with the same hole only mms bigger. Is it 24 hrs?36?

HatchCraft Incubator (its the newest cabinet we have added and I LOVE IT)

We have a dickey too though and it is a workhourse cabinet

I can't WAIT to get ours!!!! It'll be four drawers fully digital and its cheaper than a sportsman or dickey, which I both love, shipped to Oregon! very excited.

Quote: Hatchcraft and Dickey are both small, family owned, ran, built

Hatchcraft has a wait as it is just him building these. He will however work with you on custom sizes/needs. He gives heating options, thermometer options, drawers only for hand turning or shelves to accept turners.
hold temp perfectly, hold humidity perfectly
looks like a piece of furniture.

Dickey
no real wait time
has auto turner and hatch drawer in one unit
uses many of the same parts as GQF
limited options, but solid design and product
looks like an incubator cabinet

This is our hatchcraft

Oh hey how many chicken eggs do you think a shelf can hold? He can make min almost identical to yours but my digital box will be on top which is a shipping thing.

Thanks COF :) I have no thermostat in my house, so I need a well-insulated bator. Which do you think is better at maintaining its set temp no matter what the room temp is?

left to right it held 8 light brahma eggs and a total of nine rows of 8 (laying on their sides.

if you place the blue plastic egg racks in the drawer it will hold one as is brand new, plus 1 additional with one row trimmed off. (putting all eggs pointy end down in a rack for setting)

My turkey is doing great.  I just moved him to the brooder with the chicks.  I am amazed at how strong the little bugger was and how strongly he struggled to get away from being held.  Fingers crossed that I get another.  If not, do I need to go buy another poult at the feed store to keep him/her from being the only turkey until I hatch the BR from Aye?

You can keep him with some hicks if you got em.

truthfully? The Hatchcraft without a doubt is the one I never worry about. It also bounces back faster than the dickey, and almost as a fast as out antique redwoods.

Ours has a digetal control center with two sets of display numbers. One set is what temp you set it to, the other is what the temp REALY is. So far since getting it, both numbers match day or night.

we keep them all in our laundry room and have had 30's and upper 80's outside already. We will often have the windows in the houseopen and it doesnt budge either. The dickey is pretty stable as well, but I do have to pay attention to where we set it up (drafts, away from the window) I run our chicken and duck eggs in it without issue ever. I have used the hatchcraft for all of our goose eggs, and had a drawer of chicken and duck in it at one point.
