Heard someone crow today...

Can you get photos of them from the side so we can see neck and tail feathers? Those may be starting to show at this point.
Also, knowing how many weeks/months old they are would be helpful.

Thanks to all! I posted months earlier the black and barred are close to 4 mos and the others are 3 so that’s why I think it was one of the black that are supposed to black sexlinks they are the oldest I’ll try and post some side pics soon. And I have the only chickens in the neighborhood

The two black sexlinks and barred rock are almost four months and the others are three months
Just by the fact that your black sex links are black (redundant I know lol), that makes them pullets. I suspected them to be that breed. Black sex link male are barred, not black. I honestly don’t see any cockerel based on your pics. If anyone crowed, must be one of your pullets. It can happen, not that often though. You may post other pics them - from different angles, lower back, standing, sides, on natural lighting though.

The neck feathers on silverlaced Wyandotte has me thinking but it’s got almost no comb to speak of though its face/comb/waddle did redden first

But pullets crow too? This I did not know it was a pretty half assed weak crow but if it was the first then I’m sure they will get more respectable unless it’s a hen?
