Sunsplash reluctantly blinked her eyes open as she awoke, "OK, Ashblaze, come with me, please."

Sunsplash left camp, she padded to the shore of the lake and sat down at the bank. She turned her sky blue gaze to Ashblaze and took in a deep breath, "Ashblaze, there's something I've been wanting to say, I just couldn't find the right words. I might as well say it as basically as I can, though. Ashblaze..." worry and hope somehow mixed together in her eyes as Sunsplash went on, "I love you. Even from the time when we were kits! I always have, but I was worried you loved Briarsong instead of me. Now that we're warriors, though, I knew I had to say something." her voice grew calmer, yet slightly sad now, "But, if you do love Briarsong more, I won't be jealous, only happy for you."

Ashblaze felt his heart thumping hard in his chest. He wouldn't be surprised if Sunsplash heard it too. "Are you kidding?! I've loved you too!" he mewed, his voice was filled with surprise and love. "I-I was just too shy to say it out loud to you..... I thought you would make fun of me. But ever since out little swim in the lake, I knew I loved you." he finished. He touched his nose softly on Sunsplash's.

Briarsong dug her claws into the moss.She flipped out of the nest and pelted out of the den.She swearved between Morningpaw and Thunderpaw and pelted towards the bramble tunnel.She slid low and pushed underneath it.She paused when she was four tree lengths from camp, panting.She heard cracking of paws.

Morningpaw glanced at her siblings, and yowled,"Briarsong wait!"She meowed.She ran after the SheCat, Panting because of her slightly shorter legs.She saw the SheCat run again.Putting on a burst of speed, Morningpaw lept, outset reaching her paws.She closed her eyes, and landed ontop of Briarsong with a thud,"Briarsong what are you doing?!"She yowled.

Briarsong gasped at the shock of a cat landing on top of her.She wiggled out from underneath Morningpaw, And looked at her, Keeping herself from bursting into tears and throwing herself at the young SheCat."You wouldn't understand, Morningpaw,"She squeaked softly.
