Ravenstar sighed,"That couldn't be any truer, Flamefang,"She meowed.She glanced back at Larkpaw's body,"I wish I could have spared her that pain,"She murmured.

Flamefang nodded, but there was no more he could say. So he turned away and padded to the medicine to visit Firefrost. He saw Thunderpaw had moved so that he was next to Firefrost as she sat next to Morningpaw.

Sweetfeather reentered the medicine den and saw Firefrost, "I told you, Firefrost, you need rest!" she mewed.

Firefrost looked up from helping Nettlewater, Nad bristled, straining to not bear her teeth.

Nettlewater got up and padded to Sweetfeather,"I tried to get her to sleep, But she won't.So I made her roll Dock,"She meowed quietly.

Smokesong felt tears rolling down her face, she couldn't stop it.


Ashblaze looked at all the cats around him. All the cats who had known Larkpaw. He sighed quietly. Why does ThornClan want to fight us? he wondered. There's FrostClan, IvyClan and SunClan that they can attack.

Sunsplash pressed against him, tears dropped to the ground, landing on her light colored paws.

Ravenstar looked at the sky.It was already beginning to lighten.She pushed her way into the medicine cats den, and saw Morningpaw.the young cats eyes where scratched, and her front leg was stretched at a terrifying angle.Firefrost was crouched , rolling dark green leaves, murmuring to her son.Ravenstar padded up to Morningpaw, who was twitching, and shaking in her sleep.She slid I beside her, careful not to hurt her leg, and curled around her adopted niece, murmuring softly,"Shh, its ok, your alright,"She whispered.She lay her head on her golden flank, and greatdullt drifted off to sleep.
