Beepaw guessed, "Never... Never look away from your enemy?"

"Very good." Flamefang meowed, "Now, attack me." he crouched, ready to dodge.

Rainspark nodded, "Yes. Now we shall practice your fighting moves. You'll be attacking me." she readied her stance.

"Very well,"Rowanfur meowed.He crouched,"Attack me,"he meowed.

Badgerpaw struggled to remember her mothers advice."Always jump the opposite way you think they're going to go, they make you think they are going one way, but then they go the other".Badgerpaw lept up, she saw him move like lighting and she fell to the ground with a thud.

Briarpaw looked around My deputy's asking me to attack her, is there something wrong her?!,"Alright I guess,"She meowed.She stood back,"Please, please, please don't fail me now,"She whispered to herself, glancing T her dead paw before she jumped to attack her deputy.She kept her claw sheathed.

Rainspark batted Briarpaw aside, and pounced on her, claws sheathed, the black and white deputy pinned her apprentice down. She got off and meowed, "It was a good attempt, but you need more control. Attack again."

Flamefang jolted aside, and critiqued, "I could see you coming a tree length away. Predictable attack. Doing the whole, go the opposite at you think they'll go, eh? It works, if your enemy doesn't know about it. My mentor taught that to me the first day of training. Try something more... Unusual, and attack again."

Beepaw jumped, appearing to be aiming to land on Rowanfur's back, but at the last second he landed quickly on the other side of Rowanfur and tried rolling into his legs to knock him down.

Sweetpaw glared at Nettlwater and scooted her nest closer to Flameclaw's instead of Nettlewater's.

Silverpaw nuzzled her, "Beepaw is a mouse-brain. He takes things too seriously."

"No, Ravenstar," Rainspark meowed calmly, turning around, "You can't come. The biggest battle in history has just finished and the Clan can't have their leader leave them, it shows irresponsibility towards the Clan. I'm only the deputy, all I do is order patrols and , they can live without me for a little while." (I feel like Firestar's (not needed, lol) wisdom just possessed Rainspark, XD!)

Willowpaw looked to Acornpaw, "Whatever the warriors make us do."

Sunpaw was looking relaxed now that they wouldn't have time for Hawkpaw's and Ivypaw's games, but her eyes were still shining a bit with the same worry that filled Ashpaw.

(That'll work. But I have a feeling things will be very tense when Amberpool is near Nettlewater, lol.)

Now that the kits were out of the nursery, Feathercloud went in.

Waterfrost was in the nursery preparing two nests for her daughters, she remembered when they were kits and how they had always loved it in her nest when there was moss mixed with feathers on the top. She had also put some feathers in and fluffed up three mossy nests for Firefrost, Smokesong and Fernheart. Feathercloud raced forward and the small blue she-cat licked her mother's ear, she laid down in one of the nests Waterfrost had made for her and curled up, very tired.

Leopardspot squeezed into the nursery, not being as small as her sister. She smiled at Waterfrost gratefully, and laid down in the other nest Waterfrost had made.

Sweetpaw reached camp with a mouthful of borage, raspberry leaves, marigold, burdock and yarrow. She padded into the medicine den and spat them out, glaring at Nettlwater. Then laid in her nest, thinking hard about when she might become a full medicine cat.

"Yeah obviously!" Acornpaw rolled her eyes good-naturally.

Smokesong licked Cricketleap's ear, "I'm going to the nursery." she mewed to him. "See you!" then she ran over. When she reached the nursery she squeezed in and gasped. "It's wonderful!" she meowed happily. "Nice clean nests!" she smiled. Then she looked curiously at Leopardspot and Feathercloud. "When are your kits due?" she asked.

(@chicken4prez Amberpool could be knocked out after fleeing because she saw Nettlewater and Crowflight together. Since Finchwing isn't a mentor she could also move to the nursery expecting boulderfall's kits.)

"Dovepaw, do you want to come training?", Dawnpelt asked.
~
A frown of concern creased Sunstream's face as she looked at Squirrelkit.

(That's a really good idea! Ok sure!

Dovepaw nodded eagerly.

Waterfrost nodded, "My kits and the friends of my kits need nests." she chuckled and padded out, having finished her mouse.

"Well, which warrior should we ask to take us out?" Sunpaw asked.

"Beepaw's lucky, he got to go out first." Willowpaw complained.

Smokesong laughed then turned to Leopardspot. "Same."

"Thanks!" Smokesong called after the white she-cat.

"Let's ask our brothers!" Acornpaw mewed.

Hawkpaw brightened up. "I call Leaftalon!" he called over his shoulder.

Ashpaw padded over to Sunpaw. "How do you feel being an apprentice now?" he asked in a low voice.
