Sweetpaw glared at Nettlewater, wishing to take back everything she had said. She hadn't thought about the words pouring out of her mouth, Sweetpaw had just wanted Nettlewater to stop being angry at her. She had thought apologizing would end their feud. She had remembered that this cat was clearly willing to break to code because of how much she loved Crowflight. Sweetpaw didn't answer the question, "Flameclaw's my mentor too." was all that she snapped and curled tighter in her nest, slowly trying to fall asleep.

Acornpaw was thinking. We should be made warriors soon. she thought. Even Ravenstar has forgotten about us. It's like we're not even alive.




Ivypaw paced back and forth outside the apprentices den. I need to do something! she screamed inside her head.



Hawkpaw clawed an imaginary bird. He saw Ashpaw and Sunpaw together but he didn't even feel like laughing. He plopped down with a sigh.



"Everyone's forgotten about us." Honeypaw grumbled. She looked over at the kits playing. "How can they be so happy?" she wondered.






Smokesong sadly looked at Feathercloud and Waterfrost. She wished she could show her mother her kits. She missed her mother.
