Meadowpaw sat on the river bank and stared at her reflection.

"Bring me the kit, and your precious sister will be safe."Maplestar lunged forward, and grabbed Firefrost, pushing her to the ground."Make a move toward me, and she dies."

"Meadowpaw, you need to come with me. Maplestar wants you and she's threatening Firefrost."

She means nothing to me." she turned around to see Rainspark a few inches from her face, "Then why don't you come, if it won't make any difference what happens to her?" Meadowpaw looked at her paws, then back up at her aunt, "That doesn't make sense, but if you leave me alone after, then I guess I'll come." she meowed and followed Rainspark as she bounded back to camp.

He lowered his voice."Maplestar practically gives me the first pick of the fresh kill, I can hunt and patrol whenever I want, if not at all. It's like living as royalty!"
