Hollyshadow's neck fur bristled, and a shudder passed through her. She looked around the whole camp, and everyone seemed familer. Not just her old Clanmates or the cats of the tribe, but like they knew each other way back, hundreds and thousands of moons ago."What happened to Ravenstar?"Her voice shook as she spoke, fearing the answer.

"Shadowstar kind of... Possessed her? It's weird, but she's threatening to kill us and Ravenstar's spirit if we try to cross the border." Stormpaw meowed.

A cold shudder ran down Hollyshadows spine, down her legs and to the tip of her tail. She flexed her injured leg, and maybe she was hallucinating, but she saw a SheCat that was just a lighter version of Stormpaw. Her eyes widened."Stormpaw? Sister?"She breathed, padding towards her, but she vanished."She was....where did she?"She shook her head, and looked back at Stormpaw."Stay with us. Rainspark will make a plan."

Spottedsplash's yowl rang out across the clearing."Cats of the Tribe! Gather here. We have newcomers, and they will be staying with us for as long as they wish."The cats nodded, and scattered away. Spottedsplash jumped down, the darkness t causing the blue and green fungus to glow brightly. She came face to face with Birchclaw. She blinked slowly, and her ears pinned to her head. Her tail swished over the ground, a low growl in her throat. She sprung at him, and he kicked her off. She flipped midair, and landed on her paws, skidding on the dusty ground to face him. She charged at him, leaping over him, and as he whirled around, kicked his chest. She flew at him, and they locked in a snarling and hissing battle.

Birchclaw lashed out, sinking his teeth into her hind leg. They reared up, and at that same moment, lightning crashed between them, followed by a loud, earsplitting snarl of thunder. Birchclaw hissed, and raised his voice over the thunder."I never ment to hurt you! I never loved her, Spottedsplash! It was you and only you."

Spottedsplash let out a snort, wheeling around and slamming her hind paws into his chest, driving him back."Of course you did, Fool! I will never trust you! Do you know how much pain you caused me?!"She struck at his face, hissing."I lived in a dark cold world until these cats found me! They gave me the love I wanted and deserved, and you didn't! You chose my sister over me!"

Morningflame dug at the ground, standing next to Rainspark."She's going to kill him!"

Morningflame hissed."He never did anything! You don't understand!"She hissed."He never told you the full story!"

"STOP SPOTTEDSPLASH!"Birchclaw screeched, jumping to his paws."I was never in love with your sister! I did it to protect her!"

"Just listen."Morningflame murmured.

Birchclaw dug his claws into the ground."I was protecting her from my brother, Owlclaw! He wanted to be with her, but she Didnt like her. I acted like that towards her so he would stop!"
