Hello fellow chicken lovers! at least once we have all had, or will have, a chicken emergency, and not know what to do. I have had my fair share of problems, from a seriously bleeding comb [suspected bullying, as she is very sweet and at the bottom of the pecking order] to scaly leg. [not that bad an attack, just one or two upturned scales on one of the hens] But now, my flock leader, Belle the Invincible [not really her proper name. It's just normally Belle] has a very bad limp. she is hopping around on one leg and occasionally puts her left leg [the sore one] on the ground for balance. she also has brown earlobes [they are normally red] with white spots. It's not bumble foot or a broken leg [I checked] so, what is wrong with her?! [she was also very easy to catch and check over, which is NOT normal] I will post some pics if I can get some, please reply!! I NEED to know what is wrong with this hen!!!!

While you are getting the pictures.....
Age?
What do you feed your flock?
Have you brought any new birds home in that last couple of months?
