I thought that perhaps it depends if you're left or right handed whether you like it under or over.

My wife and I were at a party last year and we both had noticed that the paper was "backwards"!
On her next visit she informed me that she had "fixed" it.
On her next visit after that she reported that it had been turned back to "backwards" again!!!
