Here’s our setup for 5 chicks coming tomorrow. Thoughts?

Looks fine. I wouldn't have the feeder and waterer directly next to each other because you'll end up with wet feed. Definitely need a mesh lid by the time they're a week old or so.

I'll second that. Mine are just barely 2 weeks old and are jumping and flying everywhere. Needed a lid after first week for sure. Actually I just ended up graduating them to an extra large wire dog crate as the tote I had them in got cramped very fast with their epic growth spurts.

Refer to the post on moving water away from feed. Chicks have a way of slinging feed and water to say nothing of even dumping in both. In no time at all they'll be trying to get up on the bottles. I give them fresh water every day for a few wks. You'll see.
