HELP! CHICK IS DYING!

I'll probably go back and get one later! Do you know if heat plates keep the chicks warm enough?
Yes they do! Most have adjustable legs. If the chicks are chirping a lot, usually means they are cold and then you can adjust the height down a bit. You do not have to measure temp at all.😊

Are those silkies? THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!!! Do you know what brand works best!
Thanks!❤️
Yes, they are Silkies and a few Polkies.🙂
I breed them.
I use the Brinsea brand, EcoGlow. They have an excellent reputation, though they tend to be a bit pricier than other brands. The great thing about these is the legs come off completely, so when you’re done using it for the season, clean it up, pack it back in the box and stash it away for next time.😊
I got mine on Amazon and walmart.com with free shipping.

I’m so sorry Pierre, you did everything you could for that sweet little chick!!! :hugs:hugs
Thanks @CaliFarmsAR!!
this is nothing to do with the chick but it's kinda funny so I thought I'd tell you! So you know, I'm hatching duck eggs. They have the same hatch day as your eggs! I found a pip in one of them! I left it, thinking maybe one of the eggs just cracked. But I went back about two hours later and found a fluffy little yellow chick! I quickly took the chick out so it wouldn't break it neck in the turners and found another pip! This time I knew it would be a chick. And, sure enough, there was a yellow chick! Right before I went to bed, ANOTHER chick pipped! By morning, I found two more chicks in the incubater! Now I only have 11 (hopefully) duck I thought I could tell my duck eggs apart from my white chicken eggs!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Hopefully I'll be able to sell the chicks!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah!!!! Tell her. Ummm. The duckling needs to be under a broody longer! (Aren't the ducklings hatching under Favor, your wood ducks mate?)

Unfortunately, we had a bad storm last week and Favor’s nest flooded, I was able to save the eggs, but was almost to late. All eggs, except one, had stopped moving!! I put them in the incubator and the eggs warmed up as well as the ducklings!!! All 4 eggs are alive and doing great!!!!!!

Oh no! That's good that you were able to save the eggs! Does Favor want her eggs back?
