Nice! Okay, I was worried you were going to say California. There's an outbreak of Newcastle's there right now which can cause swelling and discoloration.

He is so pretty! Gotta love those paints! Back to the chickens...
Does the swelling seem to connect to her eye at all? If so, it may be conjunctivitis or pinkeye

The swelling is not related to her eye no!
These are pictures from tonight- swelling around the face has gone down, seems to have migrated down into more the wattles and throat area. She is still eating and drinking and pooping totally fine.

If this goes down even more by morning, it was probably a bite!
