Hi all,
I’ve been helping this chick over the last week helping it get better as it had slipped tendons in both legs. I had fixed the one tendon before the weekend and still was unable to get the other tendon to go into place until two nights ago I felt bc it moved almost into the exact right spot so I rewrapped the leg and taped the toes this time. Yesterday morning the chick had been moving around like it had been getting a lot better and could have been able to use the really bad leg. But by the time I got home from work it was unable to use its good leg that it had full motion with just earlier in the day..
The hock is swollen again but it looks like the tendon is in the right spot still? And I’m unsure as to why suddenly the chick is having this happen after doing so well last night and this morning..
I had posted another thread but it was probably not in the right forum unfortunately as I didn’t know where to post something to do with chicks like that when I should have posted it in this forum..
Here are some photos of the hock after the tendon had been unwrapped and was staying in the right place and also of today what the hock looks like and how it’s swollen..
After wrapping
