HELP! ducklings beak behind yolk sac??

Update on little Lovebug!
Finally got home and hes a-okay!
Hes not much of a talker and hes quite a heavy sleeper lol. His foot is completely fine now! Hes so small and it still shocks me! I'll post some pictures in a bit.
photos are always welcome!! Cant wait to see the little cutie-pie!

Apparently hes been jumping out of the cup all day!

I couldn't get a good picture because he kept jumping out of my hand, I'll get some better ones once hes calmed down lol.
I've yet to change the bedding from my shirt to pudding pads. I just hope we can get him a friend soon as its quite stressful having school and a newly hatched duckling and no one here to watch him (my mom just got a new job so she can't be here all the time anymore)

EDIT: He still falls over all the time and bounces off the walls of the brooder! Lol. Hes okay though, he can get up on his own now that both feet work well! Hes currently sleeping with a little puppy dog stuffed animal. And as I type, he just did the moonwalk!
When should he start drinking and eating constantly? With Newt, she started eating and drinking the second day so he should be soon correct? It's so weird seeing how tiny his feeties are and how big Newt's were!

So adorable 🥰
I’m glad his feet did it themselves
Many advise working on them right away and I like to wait 24 hours to let them stretch out
Baby may try to eat a tiny bit in first 24 but some don’t
Usually by 48 hours they should be eating and drinking
Hatching under mom they don’t see food or water for up to 48 hours as mom won’t leave the nest till her eggs hatch or 48 has gone by
The yolk will keep them full
Did you check his butt to make sure it’s clear of any poo or goo that comes from the egg ?
Baby shouldn’t get any treats outside of either starter duck feed or starter non medicated chicken feed until they are big enough to eat chick grit. It’s important as they need it to digest other foods

I tried to check for any goo or poo but he kept flipping out and trying to get out of my hand so I gave him a break and he fell asleep but I'll definitely check when he wakes up!
I didn't see anything on his butt when he first came out but it doesn't hurt to check again!

His beak is really tiny, would it be best to crush his food to tiny bits or just wet it a little bit?

He just woke up and I just checked! It was really difficult because of him kicking and since hes so fluffy but I didn't see anything.

You will be able to feel the area as well
If no hard stuff is by the vent then he is clear
With only one duck you can also tell if there is poo in his brooder then he is clear
I haven’t had calls but adding a bit of water to feed wouldn’t hurt
But you need to replace often as it goes mouldy fast when wet
