You really are my hero! 1) to rescue them before they were dinner 2) to bring them in the house 3) to learn to tube feed so quickly and 4) to be brave enough to actually go through with the tube feeding - you saved them!!!

Yes! She talked me through step by step for the tube feeding, and helped me with all the doses for things. Very very helpful and knowledgeable. Seems like she has access to some very good resources too. Can never thank @casportpony enough!Listen very closely to what casportpony has to say. Helped me with my roo when he was attacked. My roo was not eating or drinking after the attack. Caportpony gave me good advice & instruction.

Thats awesome! The ducks ate food all by themselves this morning!! View attachment 1691611
Surprisingly, Carmella ate about twice as much as Gregory. I'm going to see how much they eat through the day, but I still plan on tube feeding until they are eating normal amounts of food on their own. They are both drinking lots of water on their own! Carmella is still having a little trouble holding her head up, and is still pretty dizzy. But she's doing better every day. I don't like to be overly optimistic, but I am very optimistic.
They would 100% be goners if not for him. I just feel bad, because his reward for saving our ducks has been me spending basically all my free time with the ducks (and not him). Not a very good reward. But he did get a few treats.Let's not forget his dog either. I love dogs that consider every living thing in their house family and protect them accordingly.![]()
