Thank you all for your advice! I wet the membrane with some water so I could get a better look at things and the blood vessels were definitely still open. I checked every few hours on it and moistened the membrane a bit and eventually I could tell the vessels have closed off and the chick began to breathe under the membrane (best way I can describe it is it looked like it was blowing air into a paper bag, it would expand with air then wrap around the chick) so i made an artificial pip around its beak to make sure it was getting fresh air. I kept the humidity super high, around 80% and little by little pulled the membrane back and off. It finally made its way out this afternoon! Healthy and completely fine!

So happy.:weeYou were so patient and determined. Not to mention how determind the chick is to live. It's Gods miracle just to have witness a living being born. Thats why I love to incubate. I'm always amazed everytime I see a small being emerge from a fragile egg. This was a big miracle. We're all proud of you.praise GOD!!!!.:celebrate:celebrate

Thank y’all! I said many a prayers for this little one! He/she is a little more lethargic than I would like my chicks to be so I gave a little bit of sugar water to see if that would help a little bit. So far so good! This is the little guy! Still a little scraggly from the sticky egg but starting to fluff up a bit more!
