HELP EMERGENCY!!

I took out the eggs from my incubator that haven’t hatched and candled to see if any were just extra late Hatcher’s. All of them looked for sure dead! So I started doing eggtopsies and all of them were dead except this one! Took me by surprise! But now it has a completely opened air cell but it hasn’t pipped the membrane yet and still looks like it has blood vessels that haven’t absorbed yet! I put it back in the Bator to see if it would survive and it has been alive for about 12 hours like this! I have no idea what to do for it! I’m affraid it’s shrink wrapped but don’t want to open the air cell to make sure and nick a blood vessel! Please help!

do you have any coconut oil , triple antibiotic or Vaseline ? Not by the beak but put a dab on the membrane . should stop it from shrink wrapping then see how it it is in the am.

I've never had this problem. If the're dead I discard the egg. Good info granny hatchet.

Raise the humidity with a moist paper towel. People usually use a cotton ear swab to do the assisted hatch.

has beak broken thru membrane? Is it peeping?

i woulld put couple drops of water on membrane.then put egg back incubator cracked side down.This will help keep membrane from drying out.Doesnt look like its ready for assited hatch So i would leave in incubator check it in 12 hours.

you could maybe loosely wrap it in paper towel wet with warm water.You dont want all moisture to get sucked out of egg until chick begins hatching
