Help! first time hatching!

I've had two that hatched out today my humidity is at 22%. It doesn't surprise me really. I didn't lock mine down because they aren't suppose to be hatching. Yet. Lol

I think she just stuck the eggs I the bator and plugged it in. I don't think she knew what lockdown is/means.

Lol no actually it was two Mille fleur Cochins. Silkies aren't due yet.

Well actually lock down was technically invented as a form of HANDS OFF. I've had several hatch still on the turner. Never locked down etc.

I strongly though would not recommend not locking down a duck.

Are you sure it has one? I think some of the LGs dont. But that still shouldn't effect humidity. It should still be higher. Do you have another hygrometer that you could stick in it? I'm surprised that the brinsea is louder though. U would think for the money, they would whisper lol

I would think with no fan temp would need to be a little higher.
