Help for poor little chick

Ah yes ... 4 separate poops since she has been in my care for last 24 hours . Saw white and brown . One was very Runny but another one was small but a solid poop . Sorry for the graphics ! From the pictures I sent does that look like an impacted crop or am I maybe dealing with something else here

Also can you take a look at her little feet I’m those pictures. I’ve notived one of her claws points inward awkwardly .

It's very hard to see in the pictures. It's approx. the right place for the crop to be. If she's passing something, that is good. Does the lump move around when you massage it, or is it stuck in one place? Does it mush up at all, or is it like one solid object that won't break up?
I can't see anything obvious with the feet. Wonky toes are not uncommon, but if you can get a close up of the one you are concerned about, that would help.

The outer left toe does look a bit crooked, but it may be too late to tape the toes to straighten them. It usually works in the first few days of life, but it might be too painful now. I have had several chickens with a crooked toe, and they have done fine.

Well then glad I’m not completely off and I’m on the right thing with the crop . Glad to hear her legs look decent she never displayed any splayed leg symptoms until my friend noticed 4 days ago she couldn’t get upright. So as for how her crop feels , it’s rock hard and doesn’t move at all ! I can honestly feel little bumps and pieces that are similar to the chick starter pieces . It is so hard there is no way it’s just sour.
Another side note...she is definitely getting stronger but still has a very hard time balancing and doesn’t stand up for very long before sinking back down . When she does try and lie down she’s tipping forward , it’s alwayse forward. I try to make sure she’s not resting with her face down. Hoping with continued water and coconut oil massages she will make more progress. I offered her baby food with yogurt mixed in and a tiny drop or 2 from a ducosate sodium gel cap. I was disappointed to see she didn’t care to eat any as she hasn’t been offered food For over 24 hours now. This is like a wild goose chase .... except with a chicken

The doccusate sodium may taste bad in her food. I would just feed the food plain and stick with the coconut oil. She has an impacted crop, not a sour crop, but an impacted crop if it persists will become sour. Being so small, this has to be fixed quickly since she cannot get enough nutrients. I am going to tag @casportpony in case she has any suggestions on how to clear an impacted crop in a baby chick.

Thanks so much this is all so helpful . I truly was wondering if maybe it was the duccosate may be the issue why she didn’t seem to want any . I plan to offer her some of the yogurt by itself and the baby food to see if she takes like you said . As for the crop becoming sour from being impacted ... that’s a curve ball haha ! She’s been down for 4 days now going on 5, I imagine she said already super in need of nutrients . Any suggestions on supplements or anything like that.

Update She pooped again , this time we got black, brown , white and unfortunatley a little red bits. I saw a fleck of red in one of her other poops earlier today .

I will do my best to get a clear picture of it next time she does. There is def a bit of mucousie blood here and there in it . I’m disappointed cause She has made so much progress , 2 days ago it could barley stand or keep its eyes open and now she’s is standing and moving around well, she’s drinking lots too. Still can’t get her interested in the baby food or yogurt so I’ve boiled one of her kind and will mash up the yolk and give it to her. Any reccommendations of anything I should mix with it. I wonder if I could mix some coconut oil in, as her crop is still hard as a rock . Don’t feel bits and pieces any more so maybe it’s starting to soften up .
I would never prolong her suffering if nothing can be done so don’t hesitate to say that if that’s what your thinking .
