Currently in the middle of a traumatic incubator hatching. Started with 12 eggs and left with just two who made it to hatch day due to two power cuts and drops in temp.
Currently on day 25. One sadly passed away yesterday and i could not see movement or hear any cheeping or signs of life from second egg but thought i could see internal pip so i made a safety hole to see if would help.
Still no sign of life following that so assumed it was another lost baby and opened the hole wider to eggtopsy. THEN PANIC. As i could see the little baby opening and closing its mouth slowly.
I moistened the membrane and out it back in the incubator but there is still a lot of thick veins and i have no idea what to do now.
