Help, male duck attacking female

I didn't think of giving just the 2 of them time away from the other females, great idea! I put him in a time out yesterday an noticed that in the morning he seemed to really go after her but this afternoon he is allowing her to be in the pool with him an the other 2 females. Still staying in between them not allowing them to be together no matter how much the outcasted one tries to get in the flock. At least he's not biting an chasing her this afternoon. But, I definitely like the idea of giving them some one on one time with out the other 2 females;)

Good luck and keep us posted! And definitely let me know if you find anything else that helps :highfive:

I am happy to say that after some time outs from his lady's, allowing for some girl time and spending more time with my babies interacting talking with them an just hanging out... things are getting better! :celebrate He is still chasing a very lil bit in the early morning but I've noticed an believe it's due to the fact that he's trying to breed he's 2 favorite girls but he's allowing the other bk into the group an things are looking up! Thank you so much everyone for you help and suggestions with my babies:love

So far they mingle great, the dominant hen has gone after him a couple times an that has seemed to have gotten his attention to leave her alone. My daughter an I have been spending more time with them so I will keep a very close eye, ty

When you have that problem most of the time you need to separate the drake from the females and basically put him in time out lol and keep him separated for a few days to a week and you should not have a issue if you do get rid of him and get a new drake and if the new drake does the samething then something is wrong with that female
