help me with funny looking chicken search that my kids will love?

I-I--- that is a lot of eggs. My parents are actually concerned about TOO MANY eggs, believe it or not. They're used to our high production RSLs and white leghorn. Good thing 4/5 breeds I'd like (inc. SF) aren't very good layers!! (cochin, silkied easter egger (basically LF silkie w/ blue eggs) splash marans, easter egger, and salmon favorelle!)
Lol yes! I had high production BRs if you know what I mean... (i only have two now- and they almost NEVER miss a day of lay!) but they where pretty so what can I say lol. I’m glad that most of the breeds I chose This year don’t have high production so I can have more of them lol. I’ve seen the skilled Easter egger before on MyPetChicken, and this morning when I saw it mentioned on another thread, turns out that as hybrids they don’t always turn out silked but what can you expect? Beautiful “breed” though when you get a good turn out! I have to say that my favorite of all breed is the SS but when I get house chickens in the future (my only Goal in life is house chickens lol) I’m choosing bantams (there is a bantam SS but they sell them almost no where) bc Bantams r just in every way, amazing. (can you go wrong with the adorable mini version of your favorite animal? Nope!)

I just thought of one no one has brought up! THE NAKED NECKS! 😂😂😂 kids will have one of two reaction- Love them, or freak OUT!

Apparently they've leveled the silkied EEs up from 50% silkies to 100% silkied. I'd LOVE an SS-they're SO beautiful!!! My only goal in life is: hobby farm.
(you don't need to know details, i'll be rambling for ages) I'd LOVE house chickens but only if I could A) potty train them, and B) have a dog door setup to a run outside. I wouldn't want to deprive them of their natural outdoor time. I'd LOVE seramas-they're so tiny! I also love sebrights because they are so beautiful.

I know other posters have already mentioned Polish, but I have to highly recommend them. They are super cute, sweet, funny and quirky. They come in several different gorgeous colors including laced versions. Our two, 10 week old pullets were handled a lot as chicks and now still love to sit on our laps and on our shoulders and just be with us. We have to be careful not to step on them as they also like to sit on our feet, even if we are trying to walk through the coop.:love

My house chickens would be pampered like no other chicken ever has. I’m sure you’ve heard of chicken diapers- so no potty training worries (although I wonder how egg laying works with those lol) I should have mentioned I plan to give them a run, accessed through a chicken door (dog door I suppose) and probably my house-flock, would contain, Sebrights, Bantam Mixes, Silkies, (not really using my brain power to come up with any right now lol)I’m also curious if you have a black cat (your username lol) bc my barn cat happens to be black, and I love her more than anything. She’s very sweet, and I rescued her up the driveway where she lived on the road.
Anyway, I’m a nervous chicken mom so I don’t let me girls free range unsupervised, I know I should, let them go out on their own, but when you have young pullets and a “handicapped” and older hen you have to have some sort of worry that there could be an occurrence with all our aerial predators, even if the crows do a wonderful job of keeping them away.

I'm going to start a DM so we don't keep hijacking the thread

Thanks to all for your awesome ideas. I am going to go with Polish. Love those crazy birds. Found some beauties. Just need to figure out how to /where to keep them. My flock would be too big aggressive for them. Need another coop.
Next summer!
