HELP!! Parasites?

Hey everyone.

I found THIS on the vent of a young silkie rooster I have. I hadn't seen him have any sort of digestive issues or looking ill. I don't know what it is and I'm immediately thinking its worms (now this is me being super scared of parasites).

I bought him from someone at the market and he seemed find aside from a cold ( sneezing, and runny stinky nose) that was tough to go away but finally did. I also bought along with him one of the midget chickens (idk the breed ) and she had this problem that she'd stay stiff as if she was laying an egg but she's not laying and she was trying to poo. This gooey, egg-like consistency poo finally came out of her and then she walked off. Still it wasn't anything like THIS and I gave her some yogurt because I thought she was constipated. But I think its probably this same thing and he's also having some constipation like problems.

I don't know what this is.

I'm super paranoid and scared.

I need some help. Please everyone.

Unfortunately I don't. I got rid of the thing (the weird worm-like thing) as soon as possible.

It might have shown up better on a dark background but I too think it is probably a tape worm. Try not to freak out too much. Intestinal parasites are not unusual for animals or poultry that live outside and have contact with the ground. Learning to deal with them is the important thing. Can you check his poop for tiny worms. If he is shedding adult tapeworms then there will most likely be eggs being passed. You would be well advised to keep him off the ground and somewhere that you can inspect and dispose of poops until you can get him treated. I believe Praquizantel is the product to treat him with if this is indeed a tapeworm. Hopefully @dawg53 will be able to confirm as he has experience of dealing with these.
