Help really needed with sick runner duck over here in Holland

I would think so we give the cattle one to our birds! I cannot say this will take care of what’s going on but hey sure worth trying right? I sure do hope it helps. You could also consider making shoes for her to keep her feet flat and to help her walk

Yes, will give it a go thank you again. Its so weird that it just happened overnight really.
I wondered about shoes to keep the feet flat and its getting her legs to support her too as she hasnt been using them.. is there a good link anywhere @Miss Lydia on how to make these shoes?

@Miss Lydia Thank you, yess I think I have found it here.. there is a b complex and a B which has lots of B's in so probably the same. Its for cats, dogs and pigeons.. so a runner should be fine with it
This is what we have here and what I use:

Thank you @DuckyDonna for you suggestion.. dont think I can get that same thing but b complex for dogs cats and pigeons is available here

And I read up.

I hope your duck is doing better by now.

Please tell me where you found that Vitamin B complex for pidgeons.

I have never found anything like that here in the Netherlands. The closest I came with people recommending me uuh.. Nyancin/breweryeast?? When translated it was 'bakkersgist'. That stuff you put in dough to make it rise; That sounds bad in a ducks stomach so I guess there is a translation mistake; allthough I have found it for humans in one of those hip gym-people vitamin-bulk store. But, that is for humans.

I manage to give them a tad more mealworms and snails when adult depending on the weather, when dry or frozen some more, every day a bit though, and leave them when young as soon as possible the weather allowes in the yard. Even when it is only one hour that the temperature allowes it; so they can get some healthy nutrient themselves. Daily we spade a piece of yard and throw a bucket of water in it because they can get a lot of nutritient from the ground in the Netherlands.

But 10 months old.. It lookes like a vitamin B-thing..

Are they able to feed themselves in the yard? Like you often don't have to even feed them? Or is it a smaller Dutch garden; because then you might give some extra insects. What food do you use?

And offcourse;

HOOOOI! HOERA! EINDELIJK NOG EEN NEDERLANDER! :P

P.s. what an awesome vet do you have. I'm still looking for one that dares to treat ducks.
