The happiest ending you could hope for! :wee

You did great. :highfive:

Maybe ditch the bee traps or try a different kind. ;)

Yes, I did rescue two cedar waxwing fledglings that my dogs "found". And kept them overnight while researching feed and rehabs, including the sounds they make. I listened in the back yard and could here the parents so I put them out. One baby quickly returned but the other may have been slightly injured as it wasn't nearly as active. The rehab center was two hours away, but they had a volunteer 40 minutes the other side of me, who did stop by to pick up the babe the was still in need of some care. I tell you... the tree huggers, gotta give them credit for something!

How glorious that you got to see a reunion! :love

Thank you Lord! :clap

I'm not too much of a tree hugger. I get the need to protect some things and I go out of my way to remove invasive plant species when I see them, BUT...

I do love nature! :love

I too have been called benevolent... since I have helped worms back to safety after the rain... either before drying out or before drowning. :p It all depends though, whether it's garden friend or foe as to how I will treat it. But if it is foe, it usually takes an air ride as far away from my garden as possible or meets a very quick end (or fed to the chickens). If I smash a bug I don't leave it alive to suffer though. :sick

I have done that too!!! I would not want anything to suffer either!
