Maybe ditch the bee traps or try a different kind.

Yes, I did rescue two cedar waxwing fledglings that my dogs "found". And kept them overnight while researching feed and rehabs, including the sounds they make. I listened in the back yard and could here the parents so I put them out. One baby quickly returned but the other may have been slightly injured as it wasn't nearly as active. The rehab center was two hours away, but they had a volunteer 40 minutes the other side of me, who did stop by to pick up the babe the was still in need of some care. I tell you... the tree huggers, gotta give them credit for something!

I guess I kinda am a tree hugger...…
she is out with her Mamma.
It all depends though, whether it's garden friend or foe as to how I will treat it. But if it is foe, it usually takes an air ride as far away from my garden as possible or meets a very quick end (or fed to the chickens). If I smash a bug I don't leave it alive to suffer though.
