He's a little forward with the hens and the other roosters. His Daddy and Granddaddy were worse and they're no longer with us because of it. GrandDad Beauregard was a Buff Orpington/Rhode Island Red mix and he was a total barbarian with the hens. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when he was gone. His son Cheeky with one of the Easter Eggers was a sweetie growing up but not at all patient with the hens. Cheeky Jr, the roo in the picture is now 4 months old and he's 3/4ths Easter Egger. We'll see if he learns some manners. So far all the Easter Egger eggs we've hatched have been roosters, but we have two in the incubator now so we'll see.Beautiful! How's his temperament?

We also have 2 of Beauregard's brothers, Hawkeye and Rueben and they are both polite with the hens. The eggs currently in the incubator are Hawkeye's and Rueben's.
