Yes filling the entire egg. Don't prick the membrane if the entire egg is not full. Only do it if movement slows and you think it might be suffocating. You can tell doneness by blood. If zero blood probably fairly done. Once you get the bill out if it is chewing or yawning STOP. That means it's still absorbing the yolk and needs more time even if not bleeding. These low temp ones are really hard. Are you sure she's still moving on her own even if you don't move the egg?

Was earlier. Let me go check again

All I know is that looking through the little hole, I look all the way around in a circle and see No Beak. I've been scared to open the hole any bigger until you tell me to...lol..;). I'm going to go candle again now, and see if I can get a video.

Until it breaks the membrane itself, it’s better off not opening the shell any yet. You don’t want to have to pierce the membrane yourself. You want it to do it. So removing shell changes the leverage the duckling has and makes it harder for it to pip on its own.

Ok, will do. I do have a question for you though..... how does the membrane look when/as its drying or shrink wrapping. Getting a bit nervous but only because it's looking a little different than when I originally opened hole. The membrane is a little more white. And should it be tight & full looking? Its look just like wrinkled skin, up against her maybe? Hard to explain. Has tiny little wrinkles and folds in it.
