Ok, will do. I do have a question for you though..... how does the membrane look when/as its drying or shrink wrapping. Getting a bit nervous but only because it's looking a little different than when I originally opened hole. The membrane is a little more white. And should it be tight & full looking? Its look just like wrinkled skin, up against her maybe? Hard to explain. Has tiny little wrinkles and folds in it.

I wouldn’t say it’s fully normal, but it’s not unusual either. I suspect there is a small hole in the membrane, which caused it to collapse. It could also still be malpositioned, and the pressure you are seeing on the membrane is it’s butt, or a knee or foot. But once you open the shell more, it has to stay moistened or it will dry hard around the duckling.

Are you still seeing good activity? How about the yellowish fluid area?

It’s a fine line, when to intervene, and it’s even more difficult without actually seeing it for myself. I just don’t want you to open it prematurely.

I agree, listen to WV she has WAY more experience than I do. She should have DD behind her name for doctor of ducks!

bwahahaha. :lau

Exactly....I understand completely. I sent DuckyDonna 2 more videos. I've tried uploading them on here but was unsuccessful I am terrified to do anything wrong here. I'm just not sure what to do here.

I believe I'm pretty positive I see something orange at the edge of air sac sometimes.
So if there is a hole in air sac and collapsed, could she suffocate?
AHHHH THIS IS SO HARD.:barnie

Also, the yellow fluid area, I think I see a rim around the top of it but it's hard to see, alot of dark area

I seriously wish you were close enough for me to come look! :D

From the looks of it now, I think I would open the existing hole, just a bit more to start, to be able to take a good look inside and see what’s going on for sure. About the size to reach a q-tip through, to rub some Vaseline or coconut oil on the membrane and look for blood vessels. Also to see if it has actually broken the membrane itself. And try to find the beak.
