Help. What is wrong with my chicks?

Best of luck to you the rest of the way @BluebirdHomestead. I am new to chickens also and I've had a few problems but not like this so I am sorry I complained and I wish you the best of luck here on out.....

Thanks so much! This definitely wasn’t how I imagined it going, but I have learned so much.

All 4 are still alive this morning. I’m trying not to be optimistic yet, but glad to see them all still breathing.

A breeder that is local to me. :hmm Thought I was doing the right thing by not having them shipped. I’m going to get my free replacements but try elsewhere next time.
I would not take any more birds from them,
as that's likely where the respiratory illness originated from.
Wait until labs come back to know just what you're dealing with before making any further decisions. Some respiratory diseases can be dealt with easier than others.

I agree with this.
Avoid this "breeder" at all cost.

Do y’all think like all of these ladies chicks are dying? The vet told me to get them and just start them on the antibiotics right away. I went inside her building with the chicks and everyone looked perky and fine and she says she hasn’t had any sick there. Wouldn’t I be able to tell by looking? How does it work? I’m not in a financial position to really buy more from elsewhere and I didn’t do all this to not even have enough eggs to feed my family. Thoughts??

Of her birds did indeed seem perky, active and healthy.....

I would look at where my brooder is set up.
Is there a possibility of airborne irritants?

Not that I can think of. They are in our heated workshop and I am allergic to mold and have asthma so usually I’m the first one to know of airborne irritants haha
