I have been taking care of my chicken for a month now. I noticed she was not walking and would fall over. I realized she was dehydrated. So I have been giving her water & pedialiyte with a medicine dropper. I finally got her somewhat stroner and introduced her back to the flock slowly. I have 10 other hens and a rooster. Come to find out my rooster was picking on her from the get go!!! I went to go fill the water the other day and he picked her up and hurt her again! Needless to say he is gone. Someone came and got him from me. So here I am again feeling like I'm starting all over. What is another way of getting her hydrated quicker. Please any help or sugesstions will help! Thank you, Valerie

Put some SaveAChick or electrolytes and vitamins in the waterer, and add a couple of extra water stations in shaded areas. Plain old pans of water will do, and keep it cool with shade, changing daily in afternoons, or by adding ice or frozen water bottles to the waterers.
