Hello,

Our splash and white silkies will be 18 weeks in just a couple days. We do not have any layers or crowers yet, and while I am fairly certain certain ones are hens and roosters, I would love some additional confirmation (or help with the ones I am not sure) since this is our first time having chickens and silkies.

We will not be able to keep all of them, so we also want to make sure our information is accurate before we start finding new homes for some of them.

Splash Silkies (numbered from 1-6)

As a fellow silkie owner I'll say

You just won't know til they crow or lay an egg.
Guess all you want but it's a waste of time .

I know because my " bonded pair" of black silkies bought from a breeder....both laid an egg last month .And Harvey has streamers or ribbons on her head and is taller then Vicky ...

Good luck ,
Just sit back and let nature take its course or your " Harvey" might lay an egg too

Here are my 3 girls

Splash 2, 4, and 5 pullets, the other 3 might be cockerels
White mostly pullets except "none" and maybe "brown"
