ooo, I will try her in a warm epsom salt bath.. Good idea.
I dont think the vet knew if it was a sprain from the Drakes or an infection from a cut,
She's still in the garden resting in the shade. God bless her!

Jessica89, I made a suggestion on the other thread to try a warm plain bath, then follow with Epsom salt compress. E.s. is a laxative - and ducks drink their bathwater!

Otherwise, good idea.

Do you suggest I bring her in the house in a crate or will this distress her even more?

I have just given Hattie a sea salt warm bath and now put her in a carrier until we get a crate.
Do you tihnk she will be ok in here for now? She keeps walking on it and its getting worse.

Just keep doing what your doing with her, make sure she doesn't drink the salt water tho and I think she will be fine in a couple of days. Nice pictures by the way I like her color!

Thank you.. I hate to see her in pain.
I made sure she didn't drink it and added some oral anti biotic to her water.

Fingers crossed it heals quickly. I think it's Bumblefoot now. I can see an abscess forming.

She is so beautiful isn't she! The Drakes think so too.. I thought they caused the problem. Haha!
