I also use bulbs or coffee warmers. Bulbs tend to burn out fast though.

Today i fixed a few drafty gaps in the former turkey coop. Still more to do. Got the coop cleaned and washed 2 birds to put in there, once i get it fixed up. Hope to finish that tomorrow. The turkeys had one whole side of the coop open, they didn't care.
 
Here's something handy -- little, 6" bungie cords from the dollar store. I'm finding all kinds of uses for them but #1 is shown here -- holding the door closed when I'm inside.

I can even leave one clipped to the handle on the outside of the other door so I can unlatch it while I'm working in the coop and push the door open enough to unhook it and get out -- which prevents me from getting trapped inside the electric netting and having to either call someone in the house for rescue or risk getting shocked unhooking and rehooking the power.
