Helping hens through molt

Is there anything I can do nutrition wise to help chickens with molt? I read you can give them grower high protein feed or cat food. Is that enough?

Giving higher protein feeds, like game bird feed or grower feed can help chickens through a molt. Providing them with some wet cat food, mealworms, or scrambled eggs is also a good idea. Most chickens get through a molt just fine, even without help, but these extra protein foods will help it go faster.
