Well...at this point you have tried just about everything else LOL
If I saw that, I would worm.
You can use either Valbazen or Fenbendazole (Safeguard) to treat them.

Valbazen dosage is 1/2ml given orally, then repeat in 10 days.
or
Safeguard dosage is .23ml per pound of weight given orally for 5 days in a row.

Since you have quite a few chickens and you are stressed, it may be easier to use the Valbazen because of dosing once, then 1 repeat. It is a bit more expensive, but may be more convenient.

The only thing on tsc is a huge bottle. You think they have smaller ones? And whats the dosage. I havent eaten right in three days. Maybe two bowls of cereal and a bowl of soup at the most. I am doing everything I can do to help these new chickens. Dont have to be mean about it. I'm so sick over it and I knew I did wrong. I'm just scared. Really scared.

:hugs Ignore him sweetie! I think he just trying to be "cute".

I forgot, my TSC only carries that big jug of Valbazen too! I usually order it online.
They should have the Safeguard, but you will need to weigh each bird and dose them for 5 days in a row.

You didn't do anything wrong at all! Your coop looks good, your birds are moving around and eating, they all looked alert and aware. You're doing everything you can for them. It just takes time to get things corrected.

You do need to take care of yourself!! If you don't, then you will get sick and that helps no one. Please don't beat yourself up.

Yes, the Tylan chickens can have it too. There are no contraindications that I know of about giving both at the same time.

Glad your Dad is going to help out:)

Came home and found out ill need at least 3 more bottles of that safeguard. A couple of the chickens are 8lbs. Ugh. Going back tomorrow. I can get abt. A day and a half each out of a bottle.

Hoping I'm not pumping chemicals into them for no reason, but I couldnt wait for the kit to come tomorrow and even if I sent it back tomorrow or Saturday I wouldnnt get results til mid next week. Thats too much waiting. But in wondering if worms is why everyone has been off.

It was pretty difficult getting 28 chickens to take meds by myself. Some fell for the "look! Its a treat!" But cataracts kicked the damned bottle across the coop and wasted half the meds on the floor. Smh. Then the needle got clogged which then launched inside the bottle and pricked a hole (luckily not through all the way). Then the scale I was using ran out of batteries (ive only used it once). Had to sneak my moms antique scale out the door and force them on that. Not fun. Then almost done, my flashlight died and in stuck finishing with my 10% battery on my phone. S%#thead was the most difficult. She tried to kill me. And walking back home my phone light died. So I'm safe to assume that some demon is out to get me. But in not giving up. Worming them gave me a peace of mind and will help me sleep tonight. Kinda excited to play with their poo tomorrow to see if anything is in it. Then time to go buy a couple more bottles. Shoulda known. But thats literally my life. One big screw up.
