Sadly this morning we found Speckles dead in the coop. She was 2 1/2 years old and was doing fine yesterday she ate well followed us all over the place as they do when we are out. It was very humid here in Hesperia CA. There is plenty of water for them to drink as we have water in their coop in the yard and in the main yard we have a couple of water heater pans filled with water, they can get in those if they want to cool off. Have not changed feed. Is this something that just happens been raising chickens since 2011 and this is a first for us. No sign of injury or being bound. Father in law thinks she could have fallen and broke her neck since her head was somewhat twisted. Suggestions please. Feeling sad in the High Desert
