Tru here in NORTHERN California (Mendocino coast).

i have 10 Jersey Giant chickens on 1/2-acre back yard. Half are Large from a breeder, and others are rather small, adopted from others, and i suspect hatchery stock. from their foot color i am guessing they are Jersey Giant mixed with AustraLorp.

one of my breeder-stock hens is favorite of our extra-Large rooster and needs a longer-length saddle (not short apron). are you still making them ???

breeder suggested turkey-sized saddle, but you know what sizes YOU make.
my breeder-stock comes from 18-lbs male and 13-lbs female. all breeder stock are 1-yr old. Sally (pictured eating from my hand) weighs 9 Lbs 09 May 2020.

please let me know suggestion of size to order, and price. Have not bought saddles before; how are YOURS connected (snaps, buttons, only elastic, etc). Do you have grommets and a ring on saddle, to facilitate a lead ??

Hi! You have a beautiful flock! Yes, I do still make and sell them. Here's the measurements for my LF saddles:

And here are for heritage Turkey:

I also make custom sizes if neither of these will work. To check sizing, we need a measurement from wing pit to wing pit over the bbackand from the base of thew neck/ shoulder blades to the base of the tail.

My saddles are simply elastic stitched in on both sides with the ability to slide through the center piece. That way, you can pull the elastic to one side, stretch it over the first wing, then pull it back to the other side to stretch the second wing through. They do not have anything on them to attach a lead to.

Just saw you're on here too, and figured I'd give your post an endorsement!

I get all of my turkey saddles from OneMountainAcres! I've bought multiple from other sellers and these are by far the best. They look beautiful and help keep them safe! Attaching some pics of my girls wearing their saddles!
